For Czech and other EU citizens:
Where do I vote? If you wish to vote at a different location within Czechia, you must apply for a voter's absentee card (certificate) that will allow you to vote in any electoral district within Czechia. This card can be obtained in person directly at the respective municipality, or through a written request that must reach this municipality. Your request may be sent via a data box or by post with a certified signature.
Additional info for EU citizen voting in Czech EU elections: You need to register by asking your municipality to add you to the list of voters for the European elections, 40 days prior to the first day of the elections. However, if you registered in the previous European elections in 2019, you are registered automatically.
You can find detailed information on the website of the Ministry of the Interior.
What documents should I bring? Valid ID card or valid passport.
Accessibility information: You can request to vote outside the polling station in a portable ballot box for serious reasons, like health issues. There's no set form for the application; you can do it in writing or verbally. However, the local electoral commission can only send members with a portable box within their electoral district. You can also ask another voter to help you at the polling station.
