Where do I vote?
You can vote at the polling station in the place of their permanent residence.
You can also vote in early elections at the polling station set for this occasion by the local electoral commission. Early voting polling stations will be published at the website of the State Election Commission. However, you must communicate your intention to the local electoral commission no later than three days before the elections. In each district, there are so-called OMNIA polling stations, where voters from other districts can cast their vote.
You can vote by post. Voters who are being treated at hospitals or health spas or are in a care home for the elderly and for voters who are in detention or in a penal institution. Postal voting has to be requested from the local electoral commission no later than ten days before election day.
Voting at home is available for voters unable to vote in person due to an illness, provided they inform the local election commission at least three days before election day.

Additional info for EU citizen voting in Slovenian EU elections: Registration is not required for citizens of other EU country who have previously requested to be entered on the electoral registers in Slovenia and who are still live in Slovenia. If you have not done it yet, you have to register to vote. You can send the request to the Ministry of the Interior, personally or by mail.
